1 Million Trees

King County is planting 1 million trees by 2020.

Join the 1 Million Trees effort by signing up for updates between now and May 13 and you will be entered in a drawing to win a pair of tickets to a concert at Marymoor Park.*

Why plant 1 million trees in King County?

Healthy forests and trees store carbon and contribute to clean air and water, healthy habitat for salmon and other wildlife, and more livable communities. One Million Trees is part of King County’s ambitious five-year action plan to reduce carbon pollution and prepare for the impacts of a changing climate.
