Friends of Skyway Park and Pomegranate Center have teamed up to create gateway sculptures for Skyway Park and need your help to build them!

Today, kids from the Skyway/Renton Boys and Girls Club provided the ideas for and selected the designs for the sculptures. Tomorrow, Saturday August 22nd, is the volunteer work party to sand, sculpt, and paint the poles, which are made from cedar trees. The 5 poles will be installed at 3 different entry points to the park. This is part of a larger community-driven effort to revitalize the park and make it a safe, vibrant gathering place serving West Hill community members.
