A big THANK YOU to the 50+ students from the Bear Creek School who came out to Cottage Lake yesterday for a work party in the park.

These hardworking 7th and 8th graders planted trees and mulched the new plantings,  helping add vegetation back to the park after a Puget Sound Energy construction project.

This is the ninth year that the Bear Creek School has done a day of service at Cottage Lake Park – impressive stuff!
