New Trail Connection: Grand Opening, Dec 16th

Highpoint to Preston trail

Join the WSDoT and Mountains to Sound Greenway to celebrate the completion of Stage 1 of the Issaquah-Highpoint to Preston Trail connection, which when fully completed will add a 1.2 mile paved regional trail linking the Issaquah-Highpoint trail with the Preston-Snoqualmie Trail and will become part of King County Parks’ 175-mile Regional Trails System (or shortly, the 176.2 mile system!)

When: Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010 at 10:30 am
Where: West end of the new I-90 Highpoint to Preston Trail connection
Who: Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust Board Members Bill Chapman (president) and Sally Jewell (past president), WSDOT Asst. Regional Administrator Russ East, Issaquah Mayor Ava Frisinger, and King County Parks Deputy Director Katy Terry

Event directions from eastbound I-90: Take exit #20, High Point Way. Turn left at the end of the ramp and cross under I-90. Parking will be on your left. Overflow parking is available on the shoulder of High Point Way.
