Think you’re an expert on ‘glamping’?

Enter to win a spot on our Little Footprint, Big Forest judges’ panel

We want to hear from you! One lucky King County Parks fan will have the opportunity to join our all-star judges’ panel and help us select the winning design for the Little Footprint, Big Forest cargo container camping shelter contest.

All you need to do to be entered into the drawing for a spot on the panel is “like” King County Parks on Facebook and post your favorite camping cuisine. All posts must be made by 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 22.

*The fine print: King County Parks employees are not eligible. To be entered into the drawing, you must ‘like’ the King County Parks for at least the duration of the Little Footprint Big Forest contest. Posts are limited to one per person. Serving as a judge is voluntary, there is no compensation. Must be 18 years or older.

You do not need to live in King County to participate – design submissions will be sent to you for review. However, the winning design will be announced at the Sept. 14 Built Green Conference in Issaquah, and you will be invited to attend the unveiling.

  1. WE DON’T THINK THE PARKS ARE SAFE ANYMORE.

WAY TOO MANY HOMELESS PEOPLE CAMPING IN THE PARKS, PANHANDLING, AND USING THE PARKS AS A TOILET.
