Summertime in the Northwest often feels short-lived as we all know that it doesn’t “officially” start until after the 4th of July. With this widely accepted fact in mind, we have the tendency to relocate our socializing to the outdoors as much as possible. Why eat inside at the kitchen table when you can fire up the grill in the backyard?

We’ve also discovered that it’s much more fun to watch a movie outdoors, too. A warm summer night with toes stretched out on a cozy blanket and a bag of kentle corn passed around a circle of friends while a movie glows on a 40-foot screen is all we need to make these summer days feel extra long.

The First Tech Movies at Marymoor presented by Overlake Medical Clinics is your ultimate Wednesday night entertainment with crowd-pleasing flicks that take you “Back to the Future” or leave your tongues tied as you sing-along to supercalafragalisticexpialadoshus. The outdoor movie lineup has something for every member of the family and plenty of extras are planned for your enjoyment, including movie trivia for prizes, pre-show cirque performers, and a variety of food trucks selling fresh movie snacks for your noshing.
