Do you have a BIG idea?
King County Parks is looking to pursue new innovative projects in our parks and we want to hear from you!
Our goal is to develop long-term partnerships that enhance our parks, regional trails and backcountry trails. This entrepreneurial, collaborative mindset is what drives us to pursue big ideas with corporate, community and non-profit partners that share our vision.
All we’re asking is that you think BIG. If you have an idea that promotes parks, supports operation and maintenance, generates revenue, or fosters stewardship, tell us about it!

Here are some examples of completed big ideas to get your creativity flowing:
The Wash Spot Express– A self service dog washing station at Marymoor Park. $10 for eight minutes and $14 for fourteen minutes. Shampoo, rise and dry your canine friend after a muddy day playing in the 40 acre dog park.
Marymoor Park Concerts-The idea of having a concert venue at Marymoor Park was originally just a big idea but we made it happen! We’re excited for this year’s season of Marymoor Concerts. The full lineup hasn’t even been released, and we’re already psyched. Tickets for artists such as The Lumineers, Flight of the Conchords, Slightly Stoopid, Barenaked Ladies, Weezer and Panic! at the Disco are already on sale.
