Southern play area closed for rehabilitation

The southern play area at Marymoor Park (near the concert venue) closed on August 21 for a full facelift. The older equipment, recently removed, was originally installed in 1998. Playground equipment typically has an average life span of 15 years. The new play area will have rubber tile safety surfacing and features Playworld equipment with a focus on climbing and moving play elements. The play area is expected to be closed for approximately four months.
