New wave 80s rockers Duran Duran brought the nostalgia to Marymoor last Sunday, July 5th, kicking the Concerts at Marymoor series into full gear.

More than 4,000 people came out to enjoy a sunny afternoon and remember just how big their hair was in 1987. Local band Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head opened.
Next up is the No Depression Music Festival on Saturday, July 11th. The all-day show will feature Gillian Welch and Iron & Wine, among many other Americana, alt country, and roots rockers.
Remember, if you buy your ticekts at the Marymoor Park office, the service fee goes directly back to supporting King County Parks. In fact, in 2008, the Concerts at Marymoor generated nearly $500,000 in revenue that helped King County Parks’ operate and maintain our 25,000 acres of public lands.
