The Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center will be hosting both of these amazing events.

2009 US Open, August 4-8
The world’s eyes will turn to King County the first week of August as top athletes from around the world come to compete in this prestigious 5-day international event.  Witness Olympic-caliber performances and join in the chants of “USA!, USA!” as swimmers plow down the 50-meter lengths of the pool stretching into breath-taking finishes!

2009 Speedo Junior National Championships, August 10-14
This national competition is for the country’s top swimmers 18 years old and younger who have not qualified for the senior championships.  The competition will serve as the selection event for the 2009 Youth Team World Cup events.  Spectators will see top performers who will go on to represent the USA in Stockholm, Sweden November 10-11, 2009 and Berlin, Germany November 14-15, 2009.
