The Flaming Lips will be at the Concerts at Marymoor on Friday, August 21st. Show starts at 7 pm, doors open 5 pm.
F.L. just posted the cover art for their new album, Embryonic, on their blog. They’ve also got a post on there that feeds people’s F.L.-related tweets directly to their blog. Neat! From the posts, it looks like their recent shows have been fantastic.
There’s still time to get tickets! Buy them online or swing by the Marymoor Park office (M-F, 9 am-4pm) and buy them in person – when you purchase them at the park, the service fee goes directly back to supporting King County Parks!
On Saturday, Aug 22nd, Foreigner will be rockin’ out at Marymoor. Show starts at 7 pm, doors open at 5 pm. Tickets are still available for that show too, and there are discounts for concert-goers sporting sweet sweet mullets. (just kidding!)
Wow. Just listening to the Flaming Lips concert now on going from Marymour Park. Don’t have tickets and didn’t have to leave home (park is a short four miles away!!!) Since Marymour is home to cranes, eagles, and many other forms of wild life, it’s a safe bet this particular concert convinced all these creatures to vacate to Canada! Will miss seeing them. I guess we can look forward to the “wild life” that has replaced them in the form of Rock Revenue from here on out. It’s all about the money.
