Volunteer Apprecation Day
Proclamation to recognize May 12 as Volunteer Appreciation Day

Apologies for the delay in posting this. Once spring hits, Parks staff find themselves running around like crazed ferrets prepping for events, trying to bring money in, maintaining the entire system, and well, taking some time to appreciate those that give back to this immense park system.

May 12 was Volunteer Appreciation Day in King County, and it’s an excellent opportunity to offer up a quick shout-out of thanks to the many volunteers who donate their time and energy to help us make King County Parks such a fantastic part of our community. We are truly fortunate to have such a tremendous group of volunteers. Thanks again for all that you do!
