The wait is over! Now it’s time to get busy with science, technology, engineering and math.

The Bethaday Community Learning Space (BCLS) is finally ready to open its doors for a grand opening celebration! Join the team from the Technology Access Foundation for a special evening reception as they mark the beginning of an even brighter future and greater educational impact throughout the White Center community. BCLS will be a place for learning with an emphasis on STEM education (science, technology, engineering and math), but also a space where the public can gather for community functions and more.

TAF invite flyer

Here’s the flyer for the grand opening event. This is a great opportunity to tour the space and meet many of the dedicated people involved in this project. Please RSVP to rsvp@techaccess.org.

TAF room dedication

The BCLS multipurpose room was dedicated to King County Parks in recognition of an ongoing partnership that started with a $2 million grant awarded by the Community Partnerships and Grants Program that helped kick-start the capital campaign for the BCLS dream to come alive.

TAF room dedication interior view

Here’s an interior view of the multipurpose room. Pretty nice! Those garage doors at the end of the room will be able to open in the warmer summer months, which will be a great way to open up the space and encourage visitors to engage with the outdoor rain garden and surrounding park.
