Beginning Oct. 25, a salvage crew will start deconstructing a house and garage on land that’s adjacent Grand Ridge Park on 280th Drive Southeast. Rather than sending loaded trucks to the landfill, we’ll be sending the useful items to a company that specializes in selling salvaged building materials. On Monday, Oct. 29, Parks’ staff will be at the property to demolish what couldn’t be salvaged. Be on the lookout for heavy machinery and extra traffic along the road during deconstruction.
Recycling alert!
