This Saturday, it’s the birthday party of the year and you’re invited!
While we can’t promise that anyone is going to jump out of a giant birthday cake, we can promise that you, your family and friends will have a blast celebrating 75 years of awesome with King County Parks. And there’s no better place to party together, than Tolt-MacDonald Park, a close and favorite out-of-town destination for hiking, camping, biking and picnicking.
We’ve also doubled the celebration goodness with a volunteer work party in the morning because hey, that’s our style. The morning work party will tend to some habitat restoration and trail work followed by an afternoon field day filled with family-friendly games, contests, prizes and special 75th anniversary treats.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to come to part or all of this celebration! To volunteer, contact Laurie Clinton, volunteer program manager, at 206-296-4452 or laurie.clinton@kingcounty.gov. No registration is necessary for the afternoon field day.
