It’s back! The Cast and Dig 6th Annual Fly Fishing Event will be held at the King County Cavanaugh Pond Natural Area on Saturday, July 18 from 9 am to 2 pm. This FREE event is an opportunity to learn more about fly fishing while celebrating the gorgeous Class 1 wetland. The day begins with three hours of invasive plant removal to restore the floodplain habitat and continues with fly fishing lessons, nature walks, water play and a yummy sandwich and salad lunch. Sign up for this event by emailing tina.miller@kingcounty.gov or call (206) 296-2990. Check out more photos from the 2012 event here. We hope to see you there!
