Featuring beautiful views of Puget Sound and Mount Rainier, six primitive no fire campsites located near the beach at King County’s Maury Island Marine Park are now available for rent through a pilot partnership between King County Parks and Vashon Watersports.

Located in a grove of Pacific madrone and just off the beach, the groomed campsites include a communal picnic shelter, kayak/paddleboard storage rack and portable toilets. This is a pack-in and pack-out facility and fire is prohibited.

Each campsite is available for rent at $30 per night, with a maximum of two tents per campsite and four people maximum. Campsite reservations are available in advance at www.vashonwatersports.com or by calling Vashon Watersports at 206-463-9257. Hike-in campers are also welcome at the campsite, with access available via a 3/4-mile-long trail that originates at 5405 SW 244th Street, Vashon.
