Peace N the Hood Job Fair
The 2nd annual Peace N the Hood (PITH) Job Fair for ages 16 – 24 is coming up on Friday, June 8 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the White Center Community Center in Steve Cox Memorial Park (1321 SW 102nd 98146).
The PITH Job Fair provides employment and mentorship opportunities and is presented in partnership by Southwest Youth and Family Services (SWYFS), Worksource, Educurious, and King County Parks’ White Center Teen Program.
Some highlights for the day’s event:
- 30+ employers looking to hire youth and young adults
- On-site interviews with some select employers
- Youth/young adult employment programs
- Resume & job applications assistance
- Food & door prizes
- Peace N the Hood Youth Basketball Tournament starting after job fair
- Free parking
