Youth Job Fair: 3rd annual Peace N the ‘Hood, June 7

What do you get when you combine 30 employers and 10 resource providers at our historic Log Cabin (a.k.a. White Center Community Center) in Steve Cox Memorial Park? Jobs jobs jobs!

The Peace N the ‘Hood job fair is an opportunity for youth ages 16 -24 years old to meet potential employers in person, get resume assistance, and maybe even interview on the spot!

Last year, more than 200 young people attended the event to learn about job opportunities at places such as Alaska Airlines, Safeway, and YMCA.

This year’s event will be Friday, June 7 from 2:30 pm – 5 pm. It is free, with snacks and door prizes to boot!

Are you a job seeker with questions? Call Jody Addicks at the White Center Teen Program at 206.477.2095. Language interpreters available upon request. Contact dan.bernard@kingcounty.gov no later than May 30th.

RSVP and spread the word at https://www.facebook.com/events/328661621133327/!
