Bring your lunch and get ready to rock! A big thank you to the R Street band for providing the music for our lunchtime concert. Starting at noon hear the winners of the King County Library System’s singing competition. On July 27, the Fairwood Library had several teens show up to sing at the Local Vocals teen singing competition with the hopes of being chosen to perform at Petrovitsky Park during Fairwood’s 50th Anniversary celebration. The competition was fierce, as there were many vocally-talented teens in the Fairwood community. After much deliberation, the 3 judges selected 13-year-old Kyra Hagen, an 8th grade student at Nelsen Middle School!

Then rock and roll with the local R Street Band, at 1:00 PM.
