Like cats, road signs can have nine lives

We are checking in on the progress at the Bethaday Community Learning Space, a King County community partnership grant project with the Technology Access Foundation, and we are excited by the progress! With just a few weeks left before the grand opening ceremony, workers with Foushee Construction are hard at work finishing all the final touches, including an upcycled installation that breathes new life into surplus signs while adding an interesting dimension to the exterior of the building. The signs used in this project came from a stash of our retired parks and road signs – a perfect opportunity to upcycle!

If you ever had the chance, how would you upcycle a road sign in your own home or outdoor space?
