Wayne Tunnel’s “Ebb & Flow” mural, by artist Kristen Ramirez has been recognized by the Americans for the Arts! If you frequent the Burke-Gilman through Bothell, we’re sure you’ve rolled through and jangled that bike bell as instructed, whilst marveling at the transformation of what was once just a stark white tunnel [insert sad emoticon]. A partnership between your favorite park system (that’s us), 4Culture and the amazing talents of Kristen made for a great public piece. As far as we’re concerned all tunnels should be this awesome. Mad props to Kristen.
